Advanced Openwater course
Introduction:

Upon completion of your openwater course you have the certification to dive to 18 metres and have acquired basic scuba skills. Now that you have the license to learn, the next step towards being an independently competent diver is the PADI Advanced Diver qualification. This course includes two core units and three elective units, with a knowledge review applicable to each specific dive. You will now be qualified to dive to a depth of 30 metres, allowing you to experience some of the deeper and best dives in the world.

Duration:

Whenever you feel like diving! The course consists mostly of practical application in the form of at least 5 dives with in-depth briefings and tasks so it can be conducted at your convenience or sign up for e-learning...

 

Prerequisites:

  • Minimum age of 12 years (Enquire about the PADI Adventures in Diving program for children under 12 years of age)
  • Certification as a scuba diver by a recognised agency.
  • Students shall furnish and be responsible for the care and maintenance of their gear
Aim of the course:

In many areas, both locally and internationally, you need to be qualified as an ADVANCED DIVER to be able to take part in some of the most spectacular and enjoyable dives. This includes deep and night diving.

  • AWARE Fish Identification
  • Underwater photography
  • Enriched Air diver (Minimum age 15 years)
  • Multilevel and computer dive
  • Non-penetrating wreck
  • Night dive
  • Search and recovery dive 
  • Underwater Naturalist
  • Peak Performace Buoyancy

Cost:

R2 300 plus R200 PADI registration. Excludes boat charter fee for the deep dive. We also have a "Pay-as-you-go" option - please ask us for details.
