Lorry Bay Named after the car wrecks that litter the ocean and water's edge. Location: This small bay can be seen from the road to Rooi Els, more or less 11.4 km from Alpha Dive Centre where the burnt-out wreck of a red car lies against the slope. Accessibility: Recommended as boat dive only. Depth: more or less 12 m. Qualification: An interesting and satisfying dive suitable for both novices and the more experienced. Good buoyancy control essential as bottom composition consists of large boulders carpeted in marine life such as sea urchins, nudibranchs and anemones. |
